I still couldn't get over tarsiers, especially when i saw how they turn their heads 180 degrees around and though they have big eyes, their eyes are sensitive to light. Therefore, taking pictures with them with flash on is highly prohibited, otherwise tarsiers would commit suicide (by banging his head).
After that face to face encounter with the tarsiers, we already headed up to the town of Carmen to see the famous Chocolate Hills. There are other 2 municipalities wherein you can precisely see the chocolate hills. Aside from Carmen, its in Batuan and Sagbayan.
T'was already mid day when we got there. The sun's heat was searing and was already hungry... Oh, and if only i had my way, i would come here early morning or late afternoon..
The view deck is on top of one of the Chocolate Hills itself. I had difficulty climbing, maybe due to sign of aging :-) Imagine it is 200 steps+. Hindi pa naman ako nag-Planax....
TIP:
- Wear sunblock or bring an umbrella/cap/hat and water water or any fluid with you.
- Souvenir items are expensive in this area.
The Chocolate Hills
More than a thousand chocolate hills! As expected, when we reached the view deck, there were so many people around; but due to sun's heat, many were hiding under the shades of few trees found near the wishing well, including us ! TIP:Depending on the season, you will notice that the hills will be either green or brown or even a combination of both. Actually, the name of this tourist spot was due to the color it takes during summer or the dry season. The hills get that perfect chocolate color making them look like a bunch of chocolate kisses!! But during the rainy days, the chocolate hills are usually colored in bright green.
Wondrin' how chocolate hills were formed?
Scientific explanations say that the chocolate hills were formed out of volcanic eruptions way back before.

The Chocolate Hills Jump!
There is a photo service located at the corner of the viewing deck. With big tarpaulin background of the Chocolate Hills, all you have to do is to jump higher for better effect. Creative jump shot can be done individually or by group. Some are even using broomstick as they jump! 
Standard fee is P50, waiting time is around 15-20 minutes.
There were a lot of people lined up, so we just decided to do it ourselves, with real chocolate hills as background, taken with my CANON camera. Though the shot was not perfect, it's still fun-filled and in our hearts, will always be! (naks!)

Start right at Tagbilaran and take a bus from Dao going to Carmen. As you ride the bus, make it a point to tell the driver before hand that you must be dropped off within the complex of the chocolate hills.
