I was dumped for something better

They say the grass is always greener on the other side. Well, my grass is green. But, still i can't help looking on the other side..

Who’s never been tempted to see if the grass is greener elsewhere is a liar...

For whom do you rise (Para Kanino Ka Bumabangon)

One Tuesday morning, I woke up terrified.... Not because of the nightmare or dreams I had; but because of the sudden pain I felt on my spine. I can't get up or rise so I've tried moving my hips slowly and sidewardly, but it's so painful that I gave up trying. And so I remained lying for minutes, teary eyed and praying. At that moment, i felt like a half-paralyzed.

On Friends Drifting Apart

Not all friendships are bound to last forever...or perhaps not all friendships are meant to endure at the same intensity, or endure at all.

Over the years, I've met so many people and had many friends. Some were little more than acquaintances while others became really close friends. A number of them drifted apart from me, and me from them. Others because its my choice to let them go for I don't feel them anyway. Some were because life is too busy to keep in touch. Then there's a few, that I don't know why we don't talk much anymore. Sheer neglect ? Outgrowing each other? Perhaps. The friendship isn't the same as what is once was...

On Instants

Everyday going to my work is tough. The SLEX traffic, the high staired MRT, the guards, the MRT itself, the unpredictable weather, and the long walking route from Mega Mall to Orient Square...Thank God, there's a shortcut route, that rocky road beside the Podium Parking space..otherwise, it would have been too stressful for me....

Out of the comfort zone

How many times I've felt i was out of the comfort zone?

I remember one when i resigned with a heavy heart, as an MC Planner/Buyer Function Leader in Acer, year 2002 to start my own business. At the beginning, t'was really psychologically overwhelming- that at the age of 27, i've made some remarkable accomplishments in my career life already.

Few months passed, and i had the 1st taste of defeat. My business isn't going anywhere and so i decided to closed it. The savings I had, were all gone. I've got debts. I failed. I've lost.

Jumbled Thoughts: Unrequited Love

It’s been a while since I’ve posted my last entry. For the past few months, I'm experiencing depressions from my career as an Analyst... But, I''m back and happy that my left-side brain is well-functioning again, thanks to the movie of Sarah & John Lloyd- My Very Special Love. I found an inspiration again -- to write what comes from my heart !...

Well, I’ve been thinking this evening about being known and loved. How everyone longs to love and be loved. It's heart wrenching to think about my unrequited love, yet my thoughts wander that direction...

Introducing St. Rita

-re-post/excerpts From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Devoting one page of my blog to St Rita. She made me believe that miracles really do happen. St Rita by the way is the patron saint of "Impossible", for your information...

Patronage:

Lost and impossible causes, sickness, wounds, marital problems, abuse, mothers
Major Shrine & Feast Day: Cascia / May 22

Early life

St. Rita was born at Roccaporena near Spoleto, Umbria, Italy. The name is perhaps a shortening of Margherita, the Italian version of the name "Margaret."
